I am a licensed clinical professional counselor in the state of MD. Counseling is a career change for me. I graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor's degree in computer science and German. I enjoyed a twenty plus year career as a software developer.

When I decided that I wanted to work more closely with people and to help make a positive impact in people’s lives, I decided to return to school and study to become a therapist. I attended the University of Baltimore where I earned a master's degree in applied psychology and a certificate in professional counseling studies in 2016. ​

Prior to entering private practice, I provided in-home therapy for a community mental health clinic, where I worked with an extremely diverse set of clients. After that, I transitioned to a group private practice, where I worked for 6 years. My experience as a therapist in these varied settings have really solidified my desire to meet each client where they are and to help everyone to walk their own unique path.
